He also offers to repair the degradable equipment he sells, which can be paid for with either coins or a combination of coins and tokens.
His knowledge of Daemonheim is shown throughout a series of letters written to Thok and his younger sister, Bryll. The letters were a method to keep his sanity while traversing the endless and nightmarish floors of Daemonheim , as well as hopefully record the progress their journey had accomplished for future study. Marmaros also named one of the types of ore he discovered in Daemonheim after himself and a type of clothing texture after his sister.
Marmaros continually commented on Thok's determination and ability to travel throughout the danger-filled dungeons in a way that suggested he himself did not share the same zeal. In one letter, Thok writes that Marmaros got stomped by a 'big stomp creature'. This refers to the dungeoneering boss Stomp ; This has been proven in one of the Fremennik sagas , where the player plays Marmaros while he gets stomped.
Thok likely wrote his letter this way due to his limited vocabulary, as demonstrated when talking to him, or in his response to a player's letter in Postbag from the Heim. Marmaros was later attacked by the Hope devourer , which drained all of his hope and made him suicidal, which, coupled with the voices on the final floor, forced Thok to break his arms in order to prevent him from hurting himself.
If the player asks him about his name he will eventually say: "They called me Ma During the Christmas event , Marmaros could be found at the Heimland Games , wearing a jester hat. The player could not claim rewards, only attempt to explain to him what Christmas is. It is possible to receive parcels during Parcels from the Hedge delivered from Marmaros. RuneScape Wiki Explore. Each of the four scrolls, Cleansing, Dexterity, Efficiency, and Proficiency, costs 20, Reward Tokens and is only available for purchase once. These scrolls each provide a benefit to an artisan skill. The construction Scroll of Proficiency, the Smithing Scroll of Efficiency, and the Crafting Scroll of Dexterity each provide a similar effect for their respective skill.
However, their effects become less common at the higher tier materials. Each of the skilling assistance scrolls has both a Dungeoneering requirement alongside an initial skill requirement. The Herblore scroll and Smithing scrolls only require level 49 Herblore and level 55 Smithing alongside the same level in the Dungeoneering skill. One of the first scrolls you can unlock is the Scroll of Life. He would sell the Daemonheim armors, which would require attack, defence, strength, range, and magic experience for their respective skills, as well as the required dungeoneering to equip them.
You would not be able to bring any purchased Daemonheim items into the dungeons, as well as any type of items you find down there, so you will still have to use smithing and crafting for weapons. You wuold have to gather ALL of your resources from inside the dungeons. And, I see it fitting, although it is not vital to the suggestion, to change the name to "Survival? Also, more locations? Different types of dungeons? A dungeoneering guild within the Daemonheim Castle? Again, discuss these. Everything that I definitely would like to see are up in the previous few paragraphs.
These are only minor. Yet the monsters don't re-spawn at all, and nowhere did I read in your suggestion that this would be changed. I like the rewards system that is in place as in you have to gain tokens and then use them to buy rewards. They simply need to either give you more tokens, or make lower prices. I also don't like the idea of the dungeoneering monsters dropping regular items and then allowing you to take them out of the dungeon.
This suggestion really changes dungeoneering on the whole, rather than just the rewards system. A rewards system reboot would be making the prices lower. No support, sorry. I like the skill as it is, and maybe people will see it as less of a mini-game once it is incorporated into other areas of the game.
I personally have other ideas in mind that will keep the skill more like it is, but make it more applicable to the rest of the RS world. What you want to do is make it a bit more applicable, but in the end it becomes 'Same old'. I want to keep the new, and make it applicable. How do you suggest doing that? I'll change stuff if you guys help. And yes I see your point about the Gravite armors and whatnot. So maybe make it drop-only? I'm trying to make it less like a minigame. You do realize that the reason you can't bring any items down, and that you can't take any up and even have to smuggle just the tokens is because the dungeon is "tainted", right?
Not to mention that I believe getting something like a gravite 2h would take much longer killing monsters than purchasing it I just found out taht the rate of tokens picks up significantly later on.
One thing I think about the way they set it up - that mini-world it's more a mega-game than a minigame or skill is pretty much immune to RWT. Thank you all. If a mod would please remove this suggestion that would be great. Before Razorlike can own me By using this site, you agree to our Guidelines and Privacy Policy. RuneScape Suggestions Search In.
