Which lululemon pants were recalled

The Vancouver-based company announced it was pulling its popular black Luon yoga pants from store shelves because the material used to make them was too sheer, showing off too much of their customers' assets.

The pants have also been yanked from showrooms and the company website. The athletic clothing retailer, which has a devoted following, said it is working with its supplier and other manufacturers to replace the fabric and replenish the inventory as quickly as possible. Employees asked multiple customers to physically bend over while in the store in order to receive their refunds. One customer, in Canada, was asked to put on the leggings, bend over in the light, and allow the employee to stare at her bottom to decide whether or not they were see through.

This is an example of Situational Theory. The revamped version hit stores in mid-October. For the "Second Chance Pant," the company has sewn an extra layer of fabric onto the back and added strips of see-through mesh along the legs. The tag on the bottoms reads: "These pants were inspired by a need to find functional and beautiful design solutions for our sheer pants. This is what celebrating failure looks like! The company explains further, "We added mesh panels on the side and a luon fabric panel across the back to give you the coverage you need in Down Dog.

Lululemon confirmed to Business Insider Tuesday that the bottoms are made from the company's recalled yoga pants. Lululemon rolled out new pants with a supposedly thicker fabric, called "Full-On Luon," in July. In a draft decision released on Friday, U.
