And now Chevy is actually increasing the standard horsepower in its base V-6 Camaro, from to , while maintaining a mpg highway rating.
For the hard-core Camaro community, though, the bigger news is the 45th Anniversary Edition Camaro. While a 45th birthday is less noteworthy than a 50th, who wants to wait another five years? By then, the Camaro will probably be a wheatgrass-electric hybrid. Inside, the package splatters 45th Anniversary logos all over the place—seats, dash, instrument panel, steering wheel, sill plates—and trims the seats, steering wheel, shift boot, armrests, and center console in red, white, and blue contrast stitching.
Disappointingly—but not surprisingly—it offers no performance upgrades. It should, however, look very sharp at the local Sunday-morning car club, alongside owners clad in Camaro hats, T-shirts, and windbreakers, clutching Camaro key chains and Camaro thermoses.
I Just found out that there was of these cars produced in Total for that model. If I recall right there was something like a total of z28's made. Its kind of a low production number for the model. Wonder in time if the 45th SS Coupe will be worth anything. What do you think? I doubt it will be worth much. It may retain more than your typical decpreciation due to it being a collectors car but I do not see any appreciation out of it.
Edit : add pace cars and synergy series to the mix as well. Find More Posts by Kahdir. They do seem rarer Curious of that number, how many were ordered with stripe delete? I rarely see 45th's, let alone with no stripes, like mine. This day and age cars don't hold value like they used to unless they are like said above copo ZL1 1LE etc sure might be low numbers made, but only person who is going to pay extra for if is someone looking specifically for that car possibly..
Sent from the front seat of the Amberlamps! Collectors are very fickle, did a report on it back in college as one of my majors was Marketing. As an example, original Beatles albums were worth more 20yrs ago than today. Trust me, I know Interestingly, mid's cars are very popular, the ones we all drove and got rid of, mostly The 87 Buick Grand Natl's are commanding top prices these days, along with 's pickup trucks.
The thing that will make "our Camaros" worth something are two divergent things: 1. Finally, time Given a round or two of inflation like we saw in the 70's and it won't be anything to see our cars in great shape selling for more than what we paid for them in about yrs. My plans are to keep mine all original, drive it on Sundays and then will it off to whomever takes my fancy at the time.
Looks very clean, while being cool at the same time. No one probably noticed, but on of the things that I really like about this car is the asymmetrical design of the hood. It really looks cool.
Well, since there are still a lot of upgrades that they plan to add to the standard Camaro, it would be a hard choice between this and that. But for sheer looks, I would pick this one up. Yeah, I also lack the black color theme, it feels like a fitting color scheme for this so called Anniversary edition. And the engine upgrades also fit well. Well, the set of upgrades that they have brought for this one is not bad. I really like the list of engine enhancements that I am seeing here.
I find this edition kind of special. I think this is the only version that I do agree to be special, Yeah I agree with you. I like the styling, gorgeous look and everything about it!
I bet the competition would be tough since this car is around. I think this is the only version that I do agree to be special, I mean is, most of the car manufacture makes facelift in the car then call it "special edition" but for this car it a total package! The black theme of the Chevy Camaro adds to the aggressiveness of this car.
The carbon fiber richness looks so drooling and the detailing is great! I like the carbon fiber richness for the interior and the whole package is incredible!
The platform seems similar to the Dodge Camaro! However, this car look so smart and I think it would be great to have one of this.
